In September, Hurricane Ida devastated our community along with Essex County as a whole. As recovery and rebuilding efforts resumed, our residents and essential workers once again showed how essential they truly are. Additionally, a resounding thank you to our Department of Public Works, to the custodial staff, maintenance teams, Community Affairs team, and everyone involved in getting our township cleaned up and ready for the start of school after the storm. On behalf of our grateful community, I thank them all!
I asked the Army Corp of Engineers to assess recurring flooding impacting residents of Burnside St. Together with our Congressional delegation including Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, I’m committed to making sure Montclair gets the federal resources we need to protect residents.
Thank you to the Army Corp of Engineers for assessing the recurring flooding impacting residents of Burnside St.
