As seen in Montclair Right Now electronic newsletter:
As residents, we have all seen and felt the negative impact of recent years of severe weather on our streets. Often the cold-weather patchwork and other techniques for repair seem to be only a very temporary solution.
Given the condition of our roads and the lack of state support in maintaining them, we as a Council are currently looking for savings which will allow us to dedicate $350,000 to a longer-lasting and therefore lower-maintenance road repair solution. We will look to take action quickly in response to this vital community need.
I will keep you posted on our efforts toward this and other important community issues in this newsletter, the township website and on my own site: www.SeanSpiller.com
