Bloomfield Ave/CR 506 Bridge Rehabilitation Project

This week, beginning Monday, from 9:00pm until 5:00pm, NJDOT’s work crews will temporarily close two lanes on Bloomfield Ave to begin preparation work on the bridge rehabilitation project.  During the course of this work, two lanes of traffic on Bloomfield Avenue will be closed on either the eastbound or westbound side, with one lane maintained in each direction on the bridge just before entering Glen Ridge.

On Friday, October 12, 2018, the lanes will be closed at 9:00pm to install a construction barrier and to restripe the roadway.

This is the first stage of the Bloomfield Avenue/CR 506 Bridge Rehabilitation Project.  The full scope of the project is expected to be completed by summer 2020.
